Customized Assessment Content

All Orion client companies select Orion assessment content to meet their unique and specific hiring priorities and objectives.

The assessment content selected depends on the industry, their current hiring objectives and needs, their corporate culture, and the specific positions for which the assessment will be used.

For example, some industries call for a Workplace Safety element in the assessment, while others do not. Some positions within a client company call for emphasizing a Customer Service Attitudes element, while other positions do not.

It is common for a client company to use several custom Orion assessments in order to address the hiring objectives and priorities presented by different positions within the company.

One size does not fit all.

Company-Specific Assessments

Orion has frequently created company-specific assessment content to address, in company-specific terminology, areas that are of special or unique priority to our client company.

For example, we have created customized, company-specific customer service assessment items for the purpose of identifying those candidates who not only meet the company’s minimum criteria in that area, but who also display attitudes indicating potential to be superior performers in that area.

Custom Hiring Criteria

All Orion client companies create and select their own criteria, based on assessment results, for advancement of an applicant through the pre-hire process.

These advancements standards are established by the client company (not Orion) using the information supplied by the applicant in their responses to the assessment. The company decides which candidates will be considered, not Orion.

This feature greatly assists the client company in achieving consistency and compliance in the pre-hire process, while also advancing the company’s hiring objectives and priorities throughout the company.
